THE BYGONE LODGE

Website: https://the-bygone-lodge.itch.io/

While I was working as a creative director on Dungeon Realms, me and Mar von Zellen had creative ideas that didn’t fit in the project. We decided to set up our own website where we could put the more “out there” stuff. I designed the website myself using Wix and we put together several really creative projects. We didn’t have time to keep it up for the last year, but we plan to continue adding more strange things over time.

Islands of Asterius

A TTRPG campaign setting that exists entirely inside a pocket dimension created by a power hungry wizard. I did the worldbuilding and narrative design as well as all graphics design of the book. It was a huge challenge, because I’ve never created a whole book myself and it showed me just how much work goes into it. I’m very proud of the worldbuilding, I spent a lot of time putting the rules of the dimension together and I think they work quite nicely.

The Bygone Lodge Guidebook

A little booklet that lets a GM introduce the magical shop into their campaigns. Designing the boundary breaking “meta” concept of the shop existing in both our reality and the fictional one was a lot of fun. Creating new unique items for TTRPGs from scratch and releasing them ourselves was also an amazing design exercise.

Lost Souls – Tumbleweed’s Guide to Hauntings & Possessions

The most wacky concept we put together. A game where players take control of different ghosts and must possess adventurers. Every adventurer that gets possessed becomes a playable character the players can use in their TTRPGs. I loved creating the game for Halloween. I had to design all of the ghosts and the location, the gameplay and the unique backgrounds. I have to find some time to rework the game a bit, because it can be even better.
